In partnership with long-established, leading musical organisations such as the Associazione Alessandro Scarlatti, the International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo, Milano Musica – Contemporary Music Association, Società del Quartetto di Milano and the Turin Philharmonic, Intesa Sanpaolo sponsors innovative programmes and training for young musicians and promotes work by up-and-coming Italian and international artists.

The International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo has been one of the world’s leading piano events for over forty years, highlighting the solo instrument through great pianists such as Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli and its role as a prestigious interlocutor with major international orchestras.


Società del Quartetto di Milano

The “Quartetto”, the society founded by Arrigo Boito, Tito Ricordi and other intellectuals of the day, has been home to chamber and instrumental music in Milan since 1864. For over 150 years “il Quartetto” has been welcoming major international artists, from Milstein and Vladimir Horowitz to the great performers of today, Radu Lupu and Ton Koopman.
