Palazzo Turinetti

Intesa Sanpaolo

Commissioned by Marquis Giorgio Turinetti di Priero, banker to the Dukes of Savoy, the Palazzo looks out onto Piazza San Carlo with its long colonnade, shaping, with its neighbouring buildings, the harmoniously uniform design of the city’s salon. Furnishings, wooden panelling, stuccowork, mirrors and precious inlays preserve the original 17th- and 18th-century flavour of the interiors, cleverly preserved during post-War reconstruction, and are embellished with French tapestries and paintings from the 17th to the 20th centuries by artists such as Francia, Cignaroli, Rapous and De Mura.
